WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
If one of the buyers is serving as a first responder, teacher, healthcare worker, or service member—past or present—HOUSES FOR HEROS could assist you in reducing closing costs.
HOUSES FOR HEROS offers potential savings on closing costs using credits from us the mortgage Lender and participating real estate agent.
HOUSES FOR HEROS offers discounted services to current or future individuals in the following professions:
- First responders (including law enforcement, firefighters, and paramedics).
- Teachers (from pre-K through to post-secondary).
- Active or former service members or reservists.
- Health care professionals (including doctors, nurses, and other providers).
This list is not exhaustive. These discounts aim to reduce costs associated with purchasing, selling, and covering expenses such as title fees, home inspections, real estate taxes, and homeowner insurance.
Once approved, you may receive up to credit from Guild Mortgage and participating real estate agent.
The home buyers or sellers will be provided with a credit to assist in the cost of closing. Unlike other programs, you get the benefit on the day of closing.
